Who are the Guests?

when I come by here everyday,
I can't help but notice that
there have been over 20 Guests
within the last 24 hours.
so my question is,
Who are all the Guests?
I know that I am one,
because I rarely login,
but Who are the others?
just curious

Hi smilo how u doing,hands up,afraid i am one guilty party.I pop in from time to time.Not often i must admit,but i have in the past tried to get activity on the forum motivated,but to no avail.
So i guess i am getting lazy.I notice your thread is seven days old,no replies ?.
I posted a few weeks ago as a request from rebel,he had some good ideas,and i know you stepped in,but have not heard or seen Rebel since,so i dont know the outcome.

We still continue to get a bunch of daily "guests"! It can't be just our own pilots! I invite those folks to register and make use of the forum...or just post a "Hello" to let us know who you are...

greetings all,
as can be seen by the first post in this thread,
the "guest" question has been around for a long time.
granted, who they are doesn't really matter,
but, it has sparked my curiosity for years.

a month or so ago, i started keeping track
of the hits on each thread and i started
a new thread about hubba's w7&8 patch.
all in all, thread views are very sparse.
with a couple notable exceptions.
surprisingly, the Socket Error 11004 thread
has had 656 views in the past year
and over 150 views since early july, 2014.
the big surprise has been the new thread
Windows 7 & 8 Patch with 480 views since july 6.

oddly, the w7&8 thread was a titling experiment.
the thread has the same information
as the GREAT NEWS!!! thread which has had
only 106 views in nearly nine months.
i wanted to see what was in a name.
apparently, everything.

in conclusion, it would appear that most guests
are interested in a couple technical threads
with a smattering of them perusing other threads.
so be it...i hope the information was helpful

I like to look in now and again to see whats happening. By the way. I am still flying in various flight sims .CFS is still my favorite.Also nice to see many known names.~S~ to all .(H-----s)

as we all know, for several years now,
i've wondered who are the guests?
or, more to the point, what are they doing here?
not that it really matters, but i was curious.

granted, a few are members just looking in,
but honestly, i don't think there are really that many.

four months ago, just for the halibut,
i started the little experiment posted above.
i can now say, my question has been answered.

since july 6th, 2014, the w7 patch thread has had 4,500+ hits,
while all other forum threads have had minimal views.
(i won't bother with the actual tally)
let's just say, at least, something here is being used.

so, in the end, what this all boils down to is quite simple,
i need to get a life.
