~S~All, It has been brought to my attention that the process of getting setup to fly with us maybe a bit daunting and overly complex. If this is the case, may I offer my apologies and ask that you to post a request for assistance. Or, if anyone has any ideas as to how we can make the process easier, Please let us know.

~S~All, For the past week or so, I have been doing a little work over at the AAC Web Site. Basically, cleaning house, but there is still quite a lot to do. The AAC Flight Roster has been updated to better reflect our Active Pilots. I have added a link www.freewebs.com/alliedaircorps/UpLoads/CFO_lite.txt to what I call CFO_lite in the Essential Files area. CFO_lite is the same as Cfo_Weather, without the Situatio folder and its .FLT files. I have also edited the Cfo_Weather.txt to make it a less daunting project to install CFO. As most of you know, many of the CFO Features are not available for MULTIPLAYER sessions, so I removed the part that discussed the keyboard changes and much of the other unrelated material. Cfo_Weather is still available for download and you are encouraged to check it out, but we now have a "lite" version for those who want to quickly install CFO and get to flying with us. Next, I removed the links to our old TeamSpeak Server and placed a message that our TS IP will be posted here, in the Mission area every Sunday before our Missions. This is, no doubt, a futile effort to keep the riff raff out, but it is the best I can come up with for now. AAC Members, please feel free to use the TS Server anytime you wish and give the IP to those you trust. As I said, there is much more to be done, so please, don't hesitate to make suggestions.

After doing a lot of testing with Hubba's Ships, we found that Concrete made the Ships run smoother and a little faster. Not to mention, it will make ditching a crippled Aircraft a bit easier. With that in mind, I decided to make it easy on you and upload just the classlist.bgl for Concrete. Here's the Link; www.freewebs.com/alliedaircorps/UpLoads/classlist_Concrete.txtIf you want to dabble with Bill Potvin's SetClass Program, or there is a file with the different classlist.bgls already done, if you want to experiment. Both choices are at the Site on the Essentials Page, too.

-S- Re. complications of setting-up. Personally I could kick myself; most of my troubles were human error and my fellow pilots were very helpful. I am sorry I distracted them from flying time, but I am ready this week. I have managed to download CFO Weather, Talk 2 and found a microphone that works... I can't wait to get up in the air with you guys again. I even managed to download He111 and Ju 88 from the AAC website - absolutely fabulous. I fully expect to be shot out of the air continually on 17 May ! It brings home that truism re. the actual WWII pilots; if you could survive the first week or so, the chances of survival increased dramatically. Chocks Away ! Stue

good news, Stue. now, you will need the RAF662 Avro Lancaster from here for Sunday's Mission; www.raf662.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=25if you have problems with a black windscreen, go get a new window here; www.freewebs.com/alliedaircorps/UpLoads/Lancaster.txtthen copy and paste the .bmp into the RAF662 Avro Lancaster panel folder that should be in your Aircraft folder. overwrite when prompted. or, wait until we meet tomorrow and I will help you out. BTW, don't worry about distracting other pilots. we all had to start somewhere and besides, that's what MULTIPLAYER is all about, helping each other to get airborne...then, trying to knock each other out of the sky. fun stuff.
