~S~ Blue The only thing you're doing wrong is using the original "classlist.bgl" in your (...)\Combat Flight Simulator\scenery\all\scenery folder. This special BGL file attributes characteristics to ground tiles, making them hard and smooth for some, like concrete, and bumpy for others. For water tiles, it makes them "un-landable"; you will explode every time you ditch or taxi on them! BTW; if you tried landing on the carrier at Brooklands Fleet with that classlist.bgl, you were doomed. The deck of that carrier is an "elevated surface", meaning that it only elevate the surface under. If you have the original classlist.bgl, you are simply crashing in water a bit sooner... The solution is to get a modified classlist.bgl that will make water surfaces landable. Go get the "concrete" classlist for water at the "essentials files" section of AAC forum; www.freewebs.com/alliedaircorps/essentialfiles.htmMake a backup of your original file. P.S.= Remember that you have to change the suffix TXT for ZIP of the downloaded file. The new classlist.bgl is in it.
