~S~All, I am proud to announce that our Home Base, AAC Ripe, has just been Released. AAC_Hubbabubba has done a fantastic job creating this CFS Scenery Masterpiece. Ripe is available for download at the AAC Web Site, here; www.freewebs.com/alliedaircorps/aacripe.htmPlease note that the file is a .txt and needs to be Renamed to a .zip before you save it. This is a limitation of the AAC Web Site and should not affect the file. Also note that you will need a radio gauge to toggle many of the features at Ripe, such as the Pundit light, the Runway lights and opening and closing of the Hanger doors, plus some minor features listed in the Ripe text documents. The radio gauge should have COM1, NAV1, NAV2 and ADF. Within the next few days, I will post the MR-Bright gauge that I use to toggle all of the listed frequencies on the same page as Ripe. Take your time and tour our new home. There is much to see and enjoy, but be careful, nearly ALL objects are crash enabled. Be sure to check out the parking areas for Bombers and Fighters. Look for our names on the plaques above our personal parking spots. Very Cool. If you don't have one, find a vacancy and let Hubbabubba know. ~S~Hubbabubba, Well done!!!

In Firefox it will not let you rename a file before it downloads and after it is downloaded I cannot change the .txt to .zip and when I do it does nothing.

What OS are you using? Do you have administrative privileges on that OS? P.S.- I just realized that you've been posting a lot since yesterday. I will try to answer "some" of your questions... 1- No, we're not dead ( ); 2- If you read the "enlistment" forum, you will get a "walk-through"... well... sorta... 3- We have our weekly mission at noon, Eastern Time, every Sunday, but players do gathered for week flying according to their own schedules. That will cover the basics... oh yeah: Welcome!

first things first, welcome to the AAC. you have come to the right place, if you want to fly cfs1 multi-player. my apologies for the problems you have been having with files. the site is in dire need of a good house cleaning. no excuses. i will try to get to it. soon. for now, don't worry about converting files, it's an old option that doesn't always work, especially on newer systems. in the mean time, go here; www.thefreeflightsite.com/Hubbas.htmthis should be a link to all of hubba's fantastic work. that should get you started. i have also PMed you at soh. i have a present for you.
